A grand gala year end winter celebrations was hosted at MNR Scottsdale School, Kukatpally, with great revelry and joy on Sunday. Large number of students, their parents, teachers & staff along with orphans from ‘Desire Society’, Kukatpally participated in the festivities and shared love and happiness. Mr. Vasu V. Manthena – Chairman, MNR Educational Trust and Mrs. Sartaj Fathima, Head, Lee Department, MNR K12, joined in the celebrations.
MNR Scottsdale students and staff happily and generously participated by collecting woolen clothes, books and chocolate packs and donating them to children from the orphanage, spread a moment of joy in their lives.
Raising the spirit of celebrations was the dance performance and merry making by students of various classes. Kids shook a leg to a mix of Tollywood and Bollywood music besides Classical and Western dance performances. The primary school kids had a painting competition with students exhibiting their enormous creative talent. The program culminated with prize distribution upto Rs.10,000/- to winners of Painting, Quiz, Singing and Dancing competitions
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Vasu Manthena said, Winter Fest celebrations at MNR School could spread the message of happiness, love, talent encouragement. Besides quality education, it is essential to inculcate these qualities in a child at a very young age for them to lead a life of exemplary adults when they are grown up. The spirit of sharing from what they have with the needy was imbibed well by the students, looking at the donations they made to the kids from the orphanage.
