There is absolutely no need to say that the collection of Stamps, Coins & Bank Notes is one of the greatest and an important way to save our national heritage. By organizing this exhibition we are trying to contribute our self to this great noble cause.
As our first Prime Minister Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru told that the Children are future of our
nation and to prove that fact for the very first time we are starting 1st Junior National
Numismatic Exhibition where 44 Students are going to participate in Stamps, Coins and Bank Notes display aged between 4-16 year groups from various part of the country.
In this event the South India’s 1st and only registered auctioneer of Coins / Stamps

Maru Auction is going to Auction some of rare and antique items as follows:

 1st time known 2800-3200 year old Silver Coin of India.
 1st time known in the world history, the most important Gold Pagoda Coin of Karnataka
around 1000 years old of King named Barma Bhopala from Toragale Dynasty. It is
believed that he had ruled only for few months in the Kuntala Country presently located
in Dharwad Region.
 Silver Double Rupee Coin of Tipu Sultan (which was minted in Seringpatan now known
as Srirangapatanam). In India only Tipu Sultan has issued Silver Double Rupee Coin as
Independent Kingdom Ruler. And it is very very antique.
 1st time going to be auction Tipu’s 1/32 Silver Rupee (½ Anna) which is the only known
denomination (smallest fraction to the Rupee) in Indian History and that is issued by Tipu
Sultan. The beauty of the coin is that the size of 7.30 mm and it is very small and has the
complete year, mint name, ruler name.
 Hand Written & Signed Letter of Shri Rabindranath Tagore (Nobel Prize winner &
Writer of our National Anthem, He only gave the title of “MAHATAMA” to Gandhi Ji)
 Very Very Rare 1 & 5 Rupee note of King George VI (British Period) which was used
after the 15th Aug 1947 with the difference of RED color Serial Printed. Because for
newly formed Independent Government of India it was not possible to print new Indian
currency immediately after 15th August.
 So at that time we had the stock of unprinted paper money at Nasik Printing Press, at that
time the Bureaucrats decided to print the available notes with the portrait of King George
