#IAS officers and cabinet ministers are on war path in #Karnataka

According to media reports, Siddaramaiah the Chief Minister of Karnataka has ordered the suspension of a senior IAS officer and secretary to the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms Sanjiv Kumar for bypassing the Karnataka state Cabinet.
IAS Sanjiv Kumar had informed the Karnataka High Court about the constitution of Officers Service Board, which fixes the tenure of government employees. It has angered the chief minister and his colleagues who accused the bureaucrat of deliberately bypassing the Cabinet. But more than 15 top bureaucrats are supporting Sanjiv Kumar in his new initiative.
