Outgoing Speaker Meira Kumar sacks #LokSabha TV CEO Rajiv Mishra

Lok Sabha TV Chief Executive Rajiv Mishra has lost his job, with outgoing Speaker Meira Kumar terminating his services with effect from today. No reason has been cited in the order only a notification issued by the Lok Sabha secretariat yesterday.
Rajiv Mishra  joined as the CEO of the LSTV on December 16, 2011,  Prior to his appointment at Lok Sabha TV, Mishra was COO at India News group of TV channels. Former I&B Secretary Bhaskar Ghosh was the first CEO of Lok Sabha TV.Before joining India News group, he was President and COO at CineMaya Media Inc. USA. While working with CineMaya, he is said to have been instrumental in launching Times Now, the news channel from The Times of India group as ‘India Now’ in the US. Mishra had also worked with BAG Films as COO, where he was responsible for overall management of Radio Dhamaal and New Media and International School of Media and Entertainment Studies (ISOMES).
