Reports of #poll-violence coming from #WestBengal

Supporters of TMC and CPI(M) had clashed at Haroa in North 24 Parganas district under Basirhat Lok Sabha constituency. Local TV reports suggest that 4 left supporters suffered bullet injuries. A group of 200 CPI(M) supporters, while going to the polling booth, were attacked by TMC supporters near Brahmanchak area of Haroa. Later Superintendent of police Tanmoy Roychowdhury had claimed that there was no firing. The sub divisional police officer (SDPO) has rushed to the spot and CRPF personnel have been deployed.
Reports of poll related violence have come from Ghatal Lok Sabha constituency where Ghatal CPM local committee member was allegedly beaten TMC supporters. Reports of violence have also come from Barrackpore, Dum Dum Lok Sabha constituencies as well.
