An RTI activist was found dead in a burnt car near Eldeco Crossing here, police said today.
Chandra Mohan Sharma's charred body was found inside his car last night after passersby informed the police that the vehicle caught fire, a police official said.
Mr Sharma had filed an RTI, or Right To Information query on the state of roads and had filed a complaint with the police alleging a threat to his life on Thursday.
Sharma was an employee at Honda car company and he was returning home last night after duty.
