#Sahara putting pressure on SC Judges to release #Subrata Roy and others

Supreme Court judge Justice KS Radhakrishnan yesterday revealed that there was tremendous pressure on him and Justice JS Khehar to release Sahara group chief Subrata Roy and the other two directors of the Group from jail. Roy and the other two directors of the Group have been in judicial custody since March 4 for not abiding by the apex court's order for depositing Rs 20,000 crore of investors money with SEBI.
Justice KS Radhakrishnan yesterday disclosed this at the farewell ceremony of him along with two Supreme Court judges – Justices AK Patnaik and SS Nijjar – which was held in the Supreme Court lawns yesterday evening. He also heaped praises on his brother judge Justice JS Khehar for his fearlessness and commitment towards his duty and thanked him for “bearing the brunt” in a high pressure matter which is being heard by both the judges. Recently, Justice KS Radhakrishnan and Justice JS Khehar dismissed Sahara group chief Subrata Roy's petition for releasing him and two other directors of the group from jail.
