Perpetuuiti, a leading global Information Technology products company has announced the appointment of Vidur Kohli as Executive Vice President, Continuity Business to play a leadership role in the firm. Kohli is a senior player in the Business Continuity domain. He brings to the table valuable experience he had as Business Continuity head for IBM India, which involved his being responsible for the business continuity needs for all IBM entities in India including 125,000 IBM employees.
During his senior leadership tenure at IBM, he has held several important roles which include the Head of Learning and Knowledge Development (Chief Learning Officer) for IBM across 140 countries known as the Growth Markets. He was also the CIO for IBM Global Development Center (GDC) in India. Additionally, he has also worked with GE Capital India (also GECIS, now Genpact), and held senior technology positions there, prior to his stint at IBM. Post IBM he was the CEO of Continuity and Resilience (CORE), a boutique management consulting organization. Kohli is a frequent and reputed speaker at conferences in this domain, and has spoken both at global and domestic conferences on business continuity and has hosted dozens of webinars on Business Continuity. His comprehensive domain knowledge in IT infrastructure gives him deep insight into ITDR.
