Weber Shandwick Appoints Bianca Ghose Managing Editor of Mediaco in India
Weber Shandwick, one of the world's leading global public relations firms, announced today that Bianca Ghose has been appointed managing editor for Mediaco, the agency's award-winning content creation and distribution unit.

Mediaco combines first-rate editorial planning and production, emerging technologies and paid media to support the discovery, creation and distribution and discovery of strategic content. Based in New Delhi, Ghose will oversee the content development process for clients, working closely with Weber Shandwick’s Digital team to deliver an end-to-end solution that helps brands and organisations become content publishers.

Ghose has spent the last nine years navigating through the newsrooms of some of India’s largest and most respected broadcast news organisations. Prior to Weber Shandwick, she was one of four daytime news presenters at NDTV Profit where she oversaw editorial tone of news bulletins. She has covered equity markets, corporate news, technology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, as well as key summits including the World Economic Forum (India chapter) and the National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) Annual Tech Summit. Ghose began her broadcast career with CNBC TV-18, and previously served with Thomson Reuters, where she was part of a startup team of journalists responsible for the launch of a cutting-edge newswire service for the Thomson One offering.

“Developing a team that sets a new bar for quality storytelling requires deep, specialized talent, and Bianca’s extensive media experience and expertise will bring just that,” said Mabel Phoon, international client services director, Weber Shandwick, Asia Pacific. “She will help sharpen our ability to counsel clients on the best way to engage with their stakeholders through myriad channels. We are delighted to have her join the team.”
