Varanasi manifesto of the Aam Aadmi Party was released at party's Varanasi office. The manifesto was released by party leaders Manish Sisodiya, Sanjay Singh, Prof Anand Kumar, Yogendra Yadav, Rajmohan Gandhi, Ashutosh along with local leaders from Varanasi. The document promised to get the city the status of ‘Holy City’ alongwith a special economic package from both centre and state. A cleaner river Ganga was also one of the key agenda's on the manifesto.AAP, in its manifesto, also promised to free city from control of mafia and remove corruption. They also promised to work specifically for sections like weaver community, fishermen community and solve their specific problems.
