Free demos and assistance for e-filing of e- UPaSS using Tally ERP 9

Tally Solutions is planning to organize an extensive awareness campaign on KVAT e-UPaSS amongst the business fraternity in Karnataka. As part of the awareness drive Tally will be organizing road shows in various business hubs across the city. The first in the series will be organized at Gandhi Nagar and Chickpete. The initiative will see Tally set up expert desks at these locations to answer queries on e-filing through e-UPaSS (electronic Upload of Purchase & Sales Statements). The experts will not only guide the establishments in and around Gandhi Nagar and Chickpete on KVAT e-UPaSS but also help them with live demonstration on e-filing through e-UPaSS.

Karnataka Commercial Taxes Department, to ensure undisputed input tax claims and process faster refunds had recently issued a notification - No. CCW/CR 44/2013-14 issued on 29th April. As per the decree all dealers with more than 50 lakhs turnover are required to electronically upload their purchase and sales statements into the government portal by the 20th of the subsequent month. In lieu of helping businesses adopt the new compliance procedure the government declared an educative period till the 20th July 2014. Post this period a penalty on non-compliance shall be levied. Tally Solutions, a technology pioneer with focus on simplifying business management, has taken it upon itself to help establishments to comply with the regulation in a hassle free manner.

Elaborating on the initiative, Mr. Aravind KS, Associate Vice President at Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd., said, “We always endeavor to simplify businesses for our customers. Statutory compliance, we believe will boost economic growth of the country. We are happy to closely work with the government to ensure that our customers get the best experience while they abide by the government regulations. We look forward to many such engagements where we can help our customers not just in Karnataka but across India and in every way possible.”
