QNET launches protein power health camp, while Michael Ferreira & 3 others arrested in @QNET_India binary scam

Economic Offences Wing (EOW) of the Mumbai Police registered an FIR against QNet and its Indian franchise Vihaan in August 2013, which claimed to sell cosmetics and other products. The EOW arrested nine directors of Qnet for allegedly indulging in a binary scheme, where existing members are required to bring in more members and are paid commissions for it. This practice is banned in India under the Prize Chitfund and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act.


Former World Billiards Champion Michael Joseph Ferreira and three others, arrested in connection with QNET binary scheme  in which people were duped of lakhs of rupees.All four have been sent to judicial custody till tomorrow.Ferreira and three others were produced before a duty magistrate who remanded him to judicial custody.Many Mumbaikars protested in front of former World Billiards champion Michael Ferreira’s house on Sunday, demanding a speedy trial in 2013 Qnet scam.Simultaneous protests were held in Delhi, Hyderabad and Bengaluru as well.


To divert the media attention from the ongoing scam investigation QNET launched Protein Power Health Camp at Government School on Children's Day in Bengaluru today.
