Ltd. has started an Pan –India Initiative socio-economic campaign. Its vision and aim is to endeavor that the senior citizens of our country are able to walk, run, climb stairs & squat without being dependent on others. It is an pan-India initiative.
As precursor to the launch in Odisha, Walk foundation, is going to organize a free knee pain & replacement on 29th of December at the KIIMS Hospital at its OPD premises between 10 am to 2 pm at the Orthopedic OPD. Dr. Basant Kumar Behera, the Joint Replacement Surgeon shall personally screen these patients. Walk Foundation has invited the eminent, world reknowned Joint Replacement Surgeon, Padma Vibhushan Dr. K. H. Sanchiti who shall be performing Knee & Hip Joint Replacement Surgeries at the KIMS hospital, Bhubaneswar. Patients who are identified to require a knee or hip Joint replacement surgery during 29th December 2012 camp, will have the golden opportunity to be operated by Dr. K. H. Sancheti on Sunday (6th of January 2013) at the KIMS Hospital. Dr. Basant Kumar Behera, the Joint Replacement Surgeon shall personally screen these patients for the Surgery on 6th Jan’13.
