India’s Biggest Mobile gaming Championship’s second qualifiers happened at Mantri Square Mall today and witnessed more than 2500number of people, enthusiastically participating in games such as Angry Birds, Temple Run, Stick Cricket, Fruit Ninja and Highwayplayers. Micromax Ultimate Gaming Force has provided a gaming platform for skilled and talented enthusiasts, where gamers come together and compete with each other using Micromax Mobile phones.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Shubhodip Pal, Chief Marketing Officer Micromax said, “Gaming in India has increasingly gained great adoption and acceptance, and we are delighted to bring a mobile gaming tournament. This tournament is an extension of our promise to create unique experiences for consumers through our mobile devices. The top 20 scorers from each game will be qualified for the next round and would get an opportunity to compete for the state winner’s slot. The state level winners will win prizes worth Rupees 15 Lakhs and the top 2 will be qualified for the grand finale at a national level.
The gaming championship has been divided into 3 phases; each phase of the tournament will host different gadgets. First phase being pioneered by mobile phones, the subsequent phases will be hosting an array of different gadgets such as tabs etc.
