Love is in the air and Maruti Suzuki is celebrating Valentine’s Day with Ertiga Life Utility Vehicle (LUV), the car known for “A Feeling called LUV”. Maruti Suzuki ran a week long On-Air and On-Ground “Ertiga Luv To Drive” campaign that proved to be the perfect suitor as the official mascot of Valentine’s Day.
The week long journey culminated with 28 lucky couples getting a chance to express their affection through a Drive in the new Ertiga LUV on the 14th of February and enjoy a romantic candle-lit dinner at the luxurious Alila Bangalore Hotel and Residence. The couples were flagged off in their Maruti Suzuki Ertiga LUV at Maruti Suzuki Regional Office on Vittal Mallya Road and drove through, MG Road, Richmond Road, Double Road, Lalbagh, Jayanagar 4th Block, Dairy Circle, Forum Mall (Kormangala), HSR Layout, Indiranagar and HAL Varthur Main Road to reach the final destination.
Radio provided a platform to spread the message of LUV through an exclusive “Ertiga LUV to Drive’ on-air campaign with Queen of Fever FM Radio Jockey (RJ) Rubina, known to rule many a hearts. She was joined with surprise acts from RJ Darius and RJ Shradha, and the trio formed the panel of judges to select the 14 on-air winners.
On ground activity during the week included test drives and contests at all Maruti Suzuki dealers and leading corporate houses with bosses and colleagues playing cupid to young couples. Attractively decorated Ertiga LUV roved around Bangalore, encouraging onlookers to “Be A Part Of the Feeling Called LUV’ through test drives, innovative games or simply drop messages. 14 couples were chosen from the on-ground activation.
Ertiga is one car to fall head over heels in love with its revamped features and effortlessly great looks, and the ‘LUV to Drive’ campaign provided an innovative means to add excitement to Valentine’s Day. Participants expressed through messages of LUV to wife or husband, girl friend or boy friend, parents, the city of Bangalore and even to their employers!
Participants could join the campaign by simply sending SMS “ERTIGA” to 9986104104. Those who registered their Ertiga LUV during this period were also included in the campaign. Going forward, a roving photo exhibition of the couples in their Ertiga LUV and their candle-lit dinner will take place at Maruti Suzuki dealers.
