Congress begins its campaign in Karnataka

Congress begins its campaign in Karnataka
Congress began its extravagant campaign across the State today. Prominent leaders and star campaigners are in full form and are leaving no stone unturned in pursuing everyone to vote for the “Hand” symbol. The party is on its toes for an opportunity to make a revolution in Karnataka.

While the much awaited Former CM SM Krishna campaigned for Congress in Bangalore at Vijaynagar and Govindrajnagar constituency respectively, CLP leader Siddaramaiah was seen visiting Belgaum and Dharwad districts.

Accompanied by Priya Krishna and M Krishnappa, SM Krishna was seen campaigning for the duo with his spirits high. Talking about the misgovernance of BJP, he was seen recalling how Karnataka reached the pinnacle of success during his tenure as the CM.

While he was positively optimistic about Congress emerging victorious in the upcoming Assembly elections, he dismissed all discussions about who the CM candidate would be and laid stress upon the party’s aim which is to bring “Congress back to power”.

On the other hand, senior leader Siddaramaiah was heartily received by the District Congress leaders and various media persons on his arrival at various campaign sites. Speaking to the media, Siddaramaiah said, “I am sure that Congress will win in the upcoming elections and I have full faith in the people of the State”.

He reaffirmed about the unity that exists in the party and promised to fulfill all pro-people promises on the party coming to power. He touched upon taking JDS into task and threw light on the unethical and corrupt practices that were followed by BJP while they were in power.

While thousand participated in these campaigns and rallies, Congress party and its leaders are certain of changing Karnataka and vows to bring an end to all the problems faced by the people in the state. The party advocates the cause of common-man, and emphasize that ‘aam aadmi’ should reap the benefits of every effort made by the Government. This is thus an ultimatum to regain Karnataka at the No. 1 position by providing “Able leadership and Clean Governance”.
