Indian Overseas Bank, Bangalore Region organised a Program on “Entrepreneur Skill Development and Orientation Programme” on 25th July 2013 at MES College, Malleswaram. More than 100 Entrepreneurs from various sectors participated in the said program.
The program commenced with welcome address by Mr. K. Anil, Chief Regional Manager, IOB, Bangalore Region. He narrated the importance of Skill Development of Entrepreneurs and hence this program was organised.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the program Mr. Suhas Gopinath, World’s Youngest CEO, Global ITeS Pvt Ltd. He shared his experience in development of skills to become a successful Entrepreneur. He said that Entrepreneur can approach banks without fear and the hurdles in development can be overcome.
The program continued with address by Dr. Rajesh Nayak, Director – Training, Central Bank of Oman, Muscat. He qouted lives from the book Rich Dad and Poor Dad to improve the skills of entrepreneurs. He stressed that we should not work for the money, nor money should work for us.
Mr. C. S. Vasantha Kumar , General Manager , National Banking General Manager ,Bangalore talked upon the importance of industries in India and role played by SMEs for the same. He stated that specialized SME Processing Centre is in operation in Bangalore and informed the Entrepreneurs to approach the centre for finance requirement.
Mr S.S.Nayak, FCA Chartered Accountant, S&S Associates Mangalore delivered Key Note address for the event. He informed various keys of the Government to start up new Enterprises and to develop SME Sectors. He stressed that Team Leaders can create more leaders in the group. He narrated various ideas for improvement in Entrepreneur skill development. He being a Chartered Accountant spoke about tax issues on entrepreneurs.
Mr. Anirbhan Choudhary, Head- Karnataka, SMERA informed the tie up arrangement with banker in particular with IOB. He told the benefits on due-diligence and their rating services to the customer as well as the bankers.
