NIIT Technologies, a leading global IT solutions organization, today announced a partnership with GRU Aeroporto Internacional de São Paulo (Sao Paolo International Airport), the largest international airport in Latin Americato implement and transform the Cargo Handling system at the airport.

This partnership, the first of its kind in Latin America, will result in a single platform cargo handling system, which will handle all performance and operational needs of the cargo terminal, including core processes such as import, export, national/domestic cargo and abandoned cargo. About the Concessionaire
On February 6th, 2012, the consortium comprised of the companies Invepar (Investimentos e Participações em Infraestrutura S.A.) and ACSA (Airports Company South Africa) was announced as the winner of the bid that awarded the International Guarulhos Airport, the most important in Brazil, with a movement of approximately 32.8 million passengers in 2012. With the signature of the Awarding Contract, on June 14th, 2012, the Concessionária do Aeroporto Internacional de Guarulhos S.A. was formed, with 51% of its shares belonging to Grupar (Grupo Invepar and ACSA) and 49% to Infraero. From the 51% belonging to the private initiative, Invepar owns 90% and ACSA, 10%.
