Force Motors showcases its versatility at the International Bus and Utility Vehicle Show 2013 in New Delhi.
The Force Motors display was divided into 3 different zones. The first zone showcased the various Light Commercial Vehicles including the recently launched Traveller 26; the only 26 seater monocoque panel van in the world. Also on display was its School Bus variant meeting the latest child safety regulations.
Force Motors also showcased an air conditioned Traveller CNG vehicle which will serve as a customer relations/Metro-Feeder vehicle. This concept vehicle will seat 12 passengers comfortably in luxurious reclining seats. With ample space in the rear to accommodate luggage, this variant is ideal for pick up and drop of senior officials / executives to the airport or to the metro stations.
The Second Zone was dedicated to Special Purpose Vehicles. Ready to use applications like the garbage tipper, jetting machine and de- silting machine for solid waste management that are used by municipal corporations and civic bodies. These are built on the proven Traveller Shaktiman and the Trump range of vehicles.
The Third Zone showcased the newest members of the Force stable- the Personal Vehicles. The Force One, Force Motors first offering in this segment, was launched in 2011. A “refreshed” variant of this SUV was present for the audience. The “Gurkha” which is latest offering in the Personal Vehicle Division, was launched to the audience. The Gurkha is an extreme off-roader vehicle that has capability to take on any terrain like the hills, desert and rocky uneven paths. Its distinctive intake “Snorkel” in sparkling chrome finish ensures ample supply of fresh air to the engine which enables the Gurkha to have best in class water fording height.

In 1999, fully aware of the strength of Force Motors, in terms of engineering infrastructure and capabilities, Daimler asked it to set up a dedicated facility for assembling and testing engines for Mercedes passenger cars to be made in India. Till date Force Motors has supplied over 28,000 engines. This portfolio has grown to include the front and rear axles of the C, E, S and M class passenger cars and SUVs, which was added in the last two years.
