Toyota Kirloskar Motor, as part of its annual Environment Month celebrations, today organized environment awareness activities for school children in and around Bidadi, Bangalore. Nearly 600 Children from over 118 schools of Bidadi participated in the activities.
The competition was held at PU College, Bidadi. Around 600 children participated in painting competition, skits, essay writing, and quiz in a two day-long event. On the first day of the event i.e. on 25th June 2012, students from class 1st -7th participated in huge numbers and painted their imagination of ‘My Green Village’ and ‘Beautiful Earth’. Day two saw students from class 8th -10th sharing their views in saving Environment by expressing their strong views on the topic of Parisara Rakshaneyalli nanna patra (My role in saving environment) through essays.The quiz competition encircled the various environment questions which definitely added on the awareness levels of the students.
