Maruti Suzuki has sold 98,304 cars during August this year, up 29 per cent as compared with 76,018 vehicles in August 2013.It has sold 34,686 Wagon R, Alto and 46,759 units Swift, Ritz, Celerio and Dzire in the compact segment.5,491 units of Utility vehicle (including Gypsy and Ertiga) and 9,990 units Omni and Eeco are sold in the vans segment during the month of August 2014.
