NDTV's Sreenivasan Jain has got the prestigious Ram Nath Goenka Journalist of the year award for 2012. Speaker Sumitra Mahajan presented the award to the winners at a glittering function in Delhi today. Mariane Pearl the widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl delivered first memorial lecture at the award function.
Ramnath Goenka Awards for Excellence in Journalism celebrates the values that stand for good journalism: excellence and enterprise, courage and fairness. The award covers the entire gamut of Indian media, Print & Broadcast, in English & Indian languages.
