
Nuance Communications, a leading supplier of speech and imaging solutions, today announced the appointment of a new head of marketing for India. Sumit Goswami shall join the Nuance Mobile Global marketing group (Europe, Japan, China/APAC, and India) and lead Regional Strategies and Program execution for Nuance Mobile embedded and connected products in India.
Sumit Goswami joins Nuance with over 12 years of Sales and Marketing experience. Prior to joining Nuance, Mr. Goswami was with Tanla Solutions, heading business development for India, APAC, Middle East and Africa and was responsible for mobile carrier relationships across the four territories. During his career, Mr. Goswami has held positions with Megasoft, Hutchison (now Vodafone) and Reliance Infocomm (now Reliance Communications) in various marketing roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Indian National Institute of Technology at Tiruchirappalli (Tamil Nadu).
