The two day fashion extravaganza‘The BeYu Fashion Awards 2010’ ceremony to be held on November 19 and 20, 2010 in the IT hub Bangalore will witness showcasing of latest collections of young well known designers from India and abroad.
“The second ‘Be Yu fashion awards 2010’ ceremony to be held at Vivanta By Taj, Whitefields, Bangalore will be presented by LAWMAN Pg 3 a premium clothing brand shall be attended by the who’s who of the fashion and glamour fraternity. ‘The BeYu Fashion Awards’ is an annual event which bestows special honors to a diverse group of rising stars and fashion industry leaders. The awards recognize the Indian fashion industry as a leading producer of innovative talent, designs, textiles and embellishments.” Said Dr Anuj Saxena, Managing Director, Elder Health Care Limited, while announcing the fashion awards here today .
The weekend fashion extravaganza is being organized by Elder Health Care Ltd for its German premium cosmetic brand BeYu. The show is choreographed and put together by fashion choreographer and stylist Guru, Prasad Bidapa and associates..
“Renowned Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut and Kannad heartthrob Dignath Diganth, will add all the glitz and glamour as showstoppers for the BeYu Fashion Awards. Kannada heartthrob Diganth would walk the ramp for celebrated Indian designer Sharbari Datta’s sequence on day 1 19th November who would charm the audiences with her handcrafted masterpieces; elaborate Bhadralok dhoti kurta ensembles with priceless sherwanis, all embroidered with hand done kantha & swarovski.” Dr Saxena announced .
“Kangana Ranaut would be repeating her act from the film ‘Fashion’ but this time in real life. She would walk the ramp on 20th November showcasing denimwear from Lawman Pg3 , for whom she is the official brand ambassador.” H added.
“During the Fashion event , a mix of emerging and eminent designers including Julie Kagti, Bibi Russell, Sharbari Datta, Anjalie Sharma, Ritu & Rochana, Nimrita, Satkrit, Amanda Bacchali, Stringhopper, Sneha, Raj Shroff and Sanchita will be showcasing their collections which will set the trend for 2011.” Said Dr. Anuj Saxena.
“The awards will be presented to participating designers in categories like Lifetime Achievement Award (Indian & International), Jet Airways / BeYu International Award, BeYu Best Label Launch of 2010 Award, BeYu Best Use of Traditional Textiles Award, BeYu Best Beach & Resort Wear
Collection Award, BeYu Best Emerging Brand Award, BeYu Men’s Wear Brand of the Year Award and the BeYu Prasad Bidapa GEN – NEXT Awards. The designs will be presented to an elite audience by some of India’s leading catwalk models who will walk the ramp, made up by international make-up artist Diego Schober using BeYu products to accentuate the models looks. Said Dr Saxena .
