Awards will be presented for outstanding performances in the calendar year 2010 cross 24 categories, in a glittering ceremony planned for the occasion. Additionally, 7 special awards recognizing outstanding contributions to the Kannada Film Industry would also be presented.
The three member awards jury consists of Mr.M.S.Ramesh, Noted Film Director and President of the Karnataka Film Directors’ Association, Ms. Anu Prabhakar, Renowned Actress and Karnataka State Award winner and Mr. K.Sadashiv Shenoy, well known film Journalist.
The Chief Guest for the event is Shri D.V.Sadananda Gowda, Honourable Chief Minister of Karnataka. The event would be attended by all the leading lights of the Kannada Film Industry and eminent personalities from various walks of life in Karnataka. Udaya TV viewers also will be issued passes to witness the event on a first come serve basis.
The star studded gala event will also feature entertaining performances by leading actors; Puneet, Shivarajkumar, Upendra, Prajwal, Yash, Ragini, Priyamani, Haripriya to name a few.
