Sony PlayStation Experience 2011 at Garuda Mall, Bangalore

Teeming crowds and high voltage excitement marked the dedicated exclusively to PlayStation – ‘PlayStation Experience’. The event entry which has been kept free for everyone was held at Garuda Mall on 3rd – 4th Dec 2011. Visitors got a chance to witness the latest and best PlayStation has to offer, both in terms of hardware and software, while highlighting the sociability and simplicity of PlayStation that can be experienced by everyone. Post the Bangalore leg this year is going to be spread across 10 cities – Bangalore followed by Pune, Delhi, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Kochi, Jaipur and Mumbai.

This year the Expo was targeted at not just the hard-core gaming enthusiasts but also focused at children, teenagers and the entire family experiencing the complete spread of entertainment on the PlayStation platform. Due to its great popularity, Sony PlayStation set-up a special PS Move zone to showcase some of the latest move titles. It was a crowd puller and had a gamut of exciting PS Move games that saw children and entire families engrossed and having a good time. Some of the PS Move titles showcased included - After Hours Athletes, Start the Party, Sports Champion, Medieval Moves.

Also showcased for the PS2 platform was Sony latest venture and the first major Bollywood film to be launched as a video game – ‘RA.ONE: The game’. Displaying 6 unique characters and more than 20 game play environments from the ‘RA.ONE Universe’, the game allowed the public to participate in infinite numbers of challenging matches. Cars 2 and Chandragupta also were a favorite amongst children as well as adults competing against each other for the championship.
