The IAC movement is now moving towards giving a political alternative to the country as directed by people's mandate.

During the last one and half years, despite Anna ji and IAC's constant persistence the government did not pass a strong Lokpal, nor was a SIT set up against the 15 Tainted ministers. Rather it brought about a legislation which had provisions to save the corrupt rather than to get them punished and showed indifference to more than four hundred Anshankaris sitting on indefinite fast at Jantar Mantar.

With ministers like P.Chidambaram, Kamalnath, Praful Patel and Sharad Pawar, each of whom have several charges of corruption pending against them, it is highly unlikely that the Janlokpal bill will be passed by the current cabinet.

There are 162 MP's in Loksabha with severe charges against them. Now the time has come to cleanse the parliament. We need to give a political alternative. There are several questions we need to answer before finally getting into political fray. We need to decide the modus operandi and how we need to choose candidates.

There are several other questions that need to be answered and it is the public that will help find answers to these. This was a people's movement, is a people's movement and any further decision will also be taken by the people.

Together we need to find ways for overall systemic change in India. Your contribution is it's strength. IAC looks forward to constant contribution from the people.
