A National level seminar on "Managing Asset Quality – Traditional & Innovative Techniques" subject was organised at State Bank of Mysore, Head Office on 12th August 2013 which was successfully conducted. Shri R.Gandhi, Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India inaugurated the Seminar. Shri Sharad Sharma, Managing Director of State Bank of Mysore presided over the Seminar. This Seminar was jointly organised by State Bank of Mysore and College of Agricultural Banking, Pune, in which the Executives and Senior Officers of all the Nationalised Banks and State Bank group all over India took part. Smt. Meena Hemachandra, Chief General Manager & Principal of College of Agricultural Banking, Pune, Smt. Uma Shankar, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Bangalore and Dr. Ramakanth Gupta, General Manager [Official Language], Central Office, Mumbai were present on the Dias during the inaugural session.
In order to provide more books on General Banking subjects in Hindi, College of Agricultural Banking, Pune has been organising such Seminars at regular intervals. State Bank of Mysore, during its Centenary year had organised this National Level Seminar at its Head Office.
Out of the articles received on the subject "Managing Asset Quality – Traditional & Innovative Techniques", opportunity was provided to selected 9 articles for presentation. Soon after the presentation, question and answer session was also conducted and many intellectuals submitted views on the subject "Managing Asset Quality – Traditional & Innovative Techniques". Participants lauded for having arranged the Seminar systematically in proud manner. A CD was released on this occasion which was collection of articles received for the Seminar.
