Rwanda, officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a sovereign state in central and east Africa. Located a few degrees south of the Equator, Rwanda is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Su-Kamshall supply, install and commission Solar Photo Voltaic equipment and associated items for 35 schools in remote areas of Rwanda. The company shall also be responsible for pre-installation survey of the siteand drawing out a detailed engineering plan.Su-Kam shall also provide a warranty of 1 year post the completion of the project. The Su-kam officials shall also provide onsite training on operation & maintenance (O&M) to the personnel/staff/technicians of Rwanda.

With a wide presence in over 70 countries overseas, Su-Kam is now undertaking a large number of solar projects abroad. The company has already made its solar presence felt in countries like Nigeria, Malawi, Afghanistan, Gabon etc. The team has successfully installed electricity powered by wind and solar energy for the first time for the inhabitants of five remote villages: Chigundu, Mdayaka, Eluyumi, Kumbande and Kadzuwa in Malawi. In each village, Su-Kam has installed 3 wind generators of 4.2 kW each, along with solar photovoltaic modules of 24 V / 150 W, generating 7.5 kW. All told, the systems are generating 20.1 kW for around 150 households in each village.
In Gabon, Su-Kam has installed street lights in rural areas like Kango, Mouila and Bitam. The inhabitants of these villages had never seen electricity before the street lights were installed.
