With the increasing burden of heart diseases on Indians, NH Heart Network in Bangalore came together this year to create awareness about preventive heart care and to also showcase the strength and reach of Narayana Health. NH Heart Network consists of 11 cath labs, 134 cardiac consultants, 1282 beds and performs over 1.6 lac cardiac procedures every year.

Through this walkathon, we want to create awareness about the benefits of adopting a healthy lifestyle. He further added, “Walking is considered as a great exercise and is also good for the heart. Walking improves blood circulation and also reduces blood pressure, and hence should be made habitual by one and all.”
