Hyderabad International Convention Centre bags the excellence award for ‘Best Standalone Convention Centre”

Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), managed by Accor (the world's leading hotel operator and market leader in Europe) has received the award for excellence for “Best Standalone Convention Centre” for the year 2012-13 by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh.  Shri Vatti Vasant Kumar Hon’ble Minister for Tourism Government of Andhra Pradesh presented the award to Mr. Peter Frawley General Manager Delegate (Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Convention Centre) Accor AP Hotels and Goa Hotel Operations at the award ceremony along with Ms. Chandana Khan, Chief Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Tourism. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of Andhra Pradesh presented   the Award to recognize the contribution of various players in the travel, tourism and hospitality industry in the state on the occasion of World Tourism Day.

Speaking on the occasion Mr. Peter Frawley, General Manager Delegate (Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre and Hyderabad International Centre) and Goa Hotel operations said, “We are delighted to receive the award and this is indeed a moment of great pride for Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) to win this prestigious award four times nationally and for the first time regionally.
