Aam Aadmi Party Govt. to set up Mahila Suraksha Dal (MSD) across Delhi soon

Vowing to ensure safety of women, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi has promised to set up Mahila Suraksha Dal (MSD) across the city.

While taking a guard of honour on the eve of Republic Day at Chhatrasal stadium, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that a high-level committee headed by the chief secretary would be constituted for the formation of MSD. The government proposes to set up women security forces at ward level too, he said.

On the occasion, Kejriwal also said the Jan Lokpal Bill will soon be passed at Ramlila Maidan.

"Our dream is to make Delhi a corruption-free state. The Jan Lokpal Bill is in final stage and will soon be passed," Kejriwal said, adding, the AAP remained committed to fulfilling promises it has made to the people of Delhi.
