AAP Seminar on Agricultural Issues in Pune, Maharashtra on 20th January 2013

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is inviting leading authorities on agricultural issues for a meeting in Pune that will be led by the State Executive Member Shri Gjanan Khatu. AAP plans to address problem of farmers and agriculture on priority basis, as agriculture is source of livelihood of forty percent of people of Maharashtra. We recognize the problems of sugar growers, onion growers and cash crop farmers. At the same time the problems of dry land farmers and that of cotton growers is pressing and urgent and needs short term and long term solution. According to AAP farm workers is also part and parcel of agriculture development and hence AAP will address problems and farm and farm workers together.
