“My family shifted to Bangalore in 1947. This is when I started my cartoon career, with funny drawings of my more loved teachers in textbooks. . That time the picture of Bangalore was completely different. Now our Bangalore has changed a lot” said Paul Fernandes, Cartoonist during the inauguration of his work at The Indian Cartoon Gallery. The exhibition was inaugurated today ( 22 March 2014) in Indian Cartoon Gallery by Ponappa Subbaiah, Noted Photographer.
Speaking on the occasion Ponappa Subbaiah said “Paul and I are very good friends. When I see these cartoons I can recall the days when we both used to roam around together in Bangalore”.
The cartoon exhibition by Paul Fernandes has started from today in Indian Cartoon Gallery.
The cartoons which were exhibited are contemporary type.
The exhibition will be open to public till 8th April 2014 at The Indian Cartoon Gallery, No 1, Midford Gardens, Behind Big Kids Kemp, Off MG Road, Bangalore- 1.
