The 9th Chapter of Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Association of India (CREDAI)-Karnataka in Karwar, was inaugurated recently, at a glittering event at the Emerald Bay Hotel in Karwar.
Close on the heels of the inauguration of chapters in Bijapur and Gulbarga in 2012, Karwar is the newest addition to CREDAI family. It is a centre that currently has around 50 projects underway and with over 20 developers. The introduction of CREDAI will help streamline the process of development. CREDAI Karnataka has plans to open chapters in different developing cities too.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Nagaraj Reddy, President CREDAI-Karnataka, the Chief Guest said, “The inauguration of this new chapter is an affirmation by the real estate industry of their desire to set high standards. All the materials that are procured for construction bear a trademark depicting quality, but, there has not been anything for a building. CREDAI today provides that trademark to the home buyer”.
Mr. R. S Rajendrakumar, Principal, Girijabai Sail Technical Institute, Karwar, also a guest at the event said, “The geographic growth of Karwar has increased the necessity of multi-storied buildings. It has now become the responsibility of CREDAI to help a consumer fulfill his dreams”.
Samson D’Souza–President, CREDAI-Karwar spoke of how, with CREDAI’s cooperation, he hopes to fulfill his dream, one which he shares with other builders, of taking the Karwar Chapter to greater heights. As part of the formal function and an introduction to Karwar, Mr.Krishanand Bandekar–Secretary,CREDAI-Karwar spoke on the history of region. Mr. Jagadish Babu President–Elect, CREDAI-Karnataka, Mr. Sriram–Secretary, CREDAI-Karnataka and Mr. Anil Nayak, CEO, CREDAI, Karnataka each spoke on CREDAI.

All of these dignitaries were on the dias and were given Oath of the Office by Mr. Nagaraj Reddy, President CREDAI-Karnataka.
