Nominations and Applications for WISE 2014 Learners’ Voice Program opens today
The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) has begun its global search for outstanding young learners (aged 18 to 25) from diverse backgrounds and disciplines for the 2014-15 Learners’ Voice program. From now until June 1, 2014, WISE is taking nominations and applications for young people who will join the over 100 students and graduates of the Learners’ Voice community. This year, some 30 Learners will be selected to participate in this growing global initiative.

WISE Learners' Voice provides a global platform for young people to become involved in the crucial debates around education. The Program builds their communication, entrepreneurship and leadership skills in order to ensure that decision-makers hear their views and that they are equipped to take on leading roles in the world of education and in their own fields. The Program is based on the conviction that when students are co-creators of their learning environments they become active participants, investing collectively as stakeholders.

"The WISE Learners’ Voice Program is a platform to acknowledge the global challenges in education systems and invite partners as activists to bring about possible solutions and act as changers. Being a part of such a valued program as a WISE Learner,  is a gateway to becoming an educational activists and aiding the world to combat challenges in the education scenario of various nations." said, Nikhil D’Souza, 2013 WISE Learner, India
