Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy with a twist, is directed by Shashank Khaitan (directorial debut) and produced by Karan Johar. This love story gone crazy, stars Varun Dhawan (as Humpty Sharma) and Alia Bhatt (as Kavya Pratap Singh) in lead roles. This will be the second time the pair will be seen together in a movie and also with the producer Karan Johar. The other actors in the movie are Siddharth Shukla as Angad Bedi & Ashutosh Rana as Mr. Singh - Kavya's father. Humpty is a character; he's not the hero, he is someone who says inappropriate things at the wrong time.
