#NitinGadkari meeting state revenue ministers on land acquisition law

Rural Development minister Nitin Gadkari meets state revenue ministers  to discuss the land acquisition law. Officials said the states are yet to frame the rules to implement the law and that would form the core of the discussions.Congress is accusing BJP of not protecting farmers' interests within nine months of backing the bill in the Parliament.The meeting is viewed by some as a first step towards softening some of the provisions in the bill opposed by the industry and the corporate.
