Favourite Be Safe has won the the 27th edition of Bangalore Kingfisher Derby. Be Safe galloped through the race and conquered the finish line to be rightfully crowned as the winner of the Silver Horse Trophy. Trained by Mallesh Narredu and jockeyed by Suraj Narredu took the crowd’s breath away with an exhilarating performance. Culebra and Tiger Tops, the runner’s up, gave Be Safe stiff competition. “Synonymous as the King of all Derbies, the excitement and thrill of the Kingfisher Derby is unmatched," said Samar Singh Sheikhawat, Senior Vice President, Marketing, United Breweries Ltd.
