Chairman of Vibgyor High School Bangalore Rustam Kherawalla has been arrested this morning. He has been booked under Section 21 of the POCSO Act (failure to report offense), Section 23 of the Juvenile Justice Act and Section 201 of the IPC (destruction of evidence to protect accused). The skating instructor of the school Mustafa had already been arrested by the police in the six year old girl student allegedly raped case in Bangalore. Parents and protesters and workers of various political parties have been demanding the arrest of the school chairman for failing to discharge his duties.
