Malaika Arora Khan graced the second day of India Couture Week (ICW) wearing Rina Dhaka collections of designer saree. Extensive use of intricate embroidery elements from the region of Rajasthan and some from the heartland of Uttar Pradesh are rearranged in a layered, lace like manner in her sarees. Techniques of Zardozi, kamdani, Ari and Lace and metallic gota developments to her specification have been blended with tonal beading and soft embroidery to create a look of romance. Gota patti, Zardozi are set against a lace like background, contrasted by Mughal animal paintings depicted on fur lined velvet capes.
