Earlier TMC leader and actor turned MP Tapas Pal was caught in video threatening women with rape belonging to the opposition party. video which was allegedly said to be a few weeks old showed Pal screaming threats of violence at rival party workers at Krishnanagar.
Calcutta High Court took up the issue and directed CID to probe TMC MP Tapas Pal's alleged insensitive comment against women, orders lodging of FIR against him. High Court to monitor CID investigation.
