Bagalkot Police on Wednesday filed an FIR against Union Chemicals and Fertilizers Minister Ananth Kumar's wife Tejaswini after receiving a complaint against her and five others for alleged irregularities and lack of transparency in the financial transactions done to buy the Amruta Institute of Technology.
Meanwhile, the Congress staged a protest in Bangalore against Ananth Kumar and his wife Tejaswini after hearing of the FIR
When asked about her name featuring as the sixth accused in an FIR, Tejaswani said, "I checked with my auditor, I don't know what the FIR is, we have not got any copy. I heard in the newspaper that I am the sixth accused."
