#Johnson & Johnson invests Rs 400 crore for manufacturing facility in Mahabubnagar district of #Telangana

Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, today laid the foundation stone for the new manufacturing facility for Johnson & Johnson India near Kothur in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana, in the southern part of India. Vikas Srivastava, Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Consumer (India), A.P Jithender Reddy, Member of Parliament, Mahabubnagar, Y Anjaiah Yadav, Member of Legislative Assembly, Shadnagar and the Johnson & Johnson India Management Board members, were also present.


Spread over 47 acres, the facility will be Johnson & Johnson’s largest manufacturing facility in India. The company will invest around Rs. 400 crore in phase 1 to build a world-class facility to manufacture personal hygiene and skin care products. The facility will also create significant employment opportunities for the local community and the talent pool in the region.
Vikas Srivastava, Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Consumer (India) thanked CM Rao for his support for the project.
