Senior IAS officer Subhash Chandra Garg was on Wednesday appointed as Executive Director in World Bank.
Garg, a 1983-batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre, will have a tenure of three years from the date of assuming charge of the post, said an order issued by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC).
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Subash Chandra Garg, IAS(RJ:83), as Executive Director, World Bank for a period of three years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, said a press release issued by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC).
