Hindi day was celebrated at Vijaya Bank at its Head Office in Bangalore with pomp and gaiety. Chairman & Managing Director of the Bank Shri V Kannan presided over the function. Executive Directors, Shri.K.R.Shenoy & Sri B S Rama Rao also addressed the gathering. The General Manager (Rajbhasha), Shri A.C.Swain welcomed the gathering. After formally inaugurating the function, the Chairman & Managing Director, Shri V Kannan while acknowledging the fact that use of Hindi Language will go a long way in contributing to the growth of the Bank, appealed to the staff members to put in more efforts. The Chairman & Managing Director and the Executive Directors distributed prizes to the winners of various Hindi competitions conducted on the occasion of Hindi Month at Head Office.
