#FreeTapanDa : Pro-Hindu leader detained in Malda district of West Bengal

Senior Hindu leader Tapan Ghosh was arrested on Monday in North Bengal’s Malda along with two of his associates. According to media reports, Ghosh was on a North Bengal tour from 30th October with his Hindu Samhati associates Asitava Bhowmik and Sujit Maity. It was the second day of their “All Bengal membership drive”. He was arrested by Chachol PS. in Malda.
Reports say that the fire-brand Hindu leader and his associates were detained for holding a rally ‘without permission’.
Unconfirmed reports suggests Section 144 has been declared in the Englishbazar area of Malda district..
