School kids to make apps for waste management, women’s safety, support for cancer patients and more

Global Discovery Schools, a chain of K-12 schools is organizing the All - India Tech Launchpad competition for students from Classes 4 to 9.  The Tech Launchpad competition has two categories – the Game Challenge for classes 4 to 6, and the App Contest for classes 6-9. By way of this competition, global Discovery Schools aims at unlocking the creative potential in today’s children and enabling them with technology to give shape and form to their ideas.

This is the second consecutive year in which global Discovery Schools has organized an app design contest for children."Last year children were able to make mobile apps that addressed issues including waste management, women’s safety, support for cancer patients and many more. We look forward to a large participation from young innovators this year as well,” said Vinesh Menon, Chief Operating Officer, global Discovery Schools
