Vijaya Bank has launched two Debit Card variants in partnership with VISA and RUPAY targeting the high income group from urban localities. The cards were launched by Bank’s MD and CEO Sri Kishore Sansi at Bank’s head office in Bangalore in presence of Bank’s Executive Director Sri B S Rama Rao at a function attended by large number of customers.
The VISA PLATINUM Card comes with International EMV chip card with enhanced security features. The card is having daily cash withdrawals of Rs 50,000/- and shopping up to Rs 1 Lac per day at merchant outlets. In addition the card holders can also benefit from the host of tie ups with leading e-commerce merchants, online deals, hotels, restaurants, movies etc.
The RUPAY PLATINUM card is valid only in India having daily cash withdrawals of Rs 50,000/- and shopping up to Rs 1 Lac per day at merchant outlets. The card is loaded with several benefits like cash back offers, reduced fuel surcharge, discounts at merchants and airport lounge access etc. As value added feature the card holder is provided personal accident insurance coverage.
Launching the new cards, Vijaya Bank MD and CEO Sri Kishore Sansi reiterated the bank's commitment for providing innovative facilities to customers in tune with growing customer expectations.
