The CK Birla Group, a USD 1.6 billion diversified business conglomerate has announced the appointment of Anjan Lahiri as the Chief Executive Officer of its global IT services firm Birlasoft. Anjan Lahiri is a globally recognized information services expert and one of the co-founders of Mindtree.
Commenting on Anjan Lahiri’s appointment, Amita Birla Chairman, Birlasoft said, “Birlasoft is going through an interesting growth phase, and Anjan’s appointment comes at the right time. An alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Anjan earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering. The Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, is part of the CK Birla group. He also holds an MBA from the University of Florida, Gainesville USA.
